The Sri Chinmoy Centre is based in Kathmandu, and offer free meditation classes and other spiritual and cultural events.

In the video you can watch excerpts from Songs of the Soul - an international concert series of Sri Chinmoy's music that visited Kathmandu.

The members of the Sri Chinmoy Centre are students of the spiritual master Sri Chinmoy, who visited Nepal in 1994 and 1999. In 1994, the mountain Ghenge Liru, part of the Langtang mountain range, was dedicated as a Sri Chinmoy Peace Mountain - one of many landmarks dedicated to the cause of peace as part of the Sri Chinmoy Peace Blossoms program.

In 2011, a statue of Sri Chinmoy was inaugurated in Nagarkaot. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala and former prime ministers Kirtinidhi Bista and Lokendra Bahadur Chand.
